Partial unwanted erections when anxious

Three years ago my wife and I moved to her hometown, a very small town from a big city. After 10 years I ended my small business and was on the job hunt after 15 years doing the same thing. While working a new sales job I developed anxiety and panic attacks while trying to perform presentations. During this time I started having erection problems but not the kind you would think. I started becoming slightly, 25%, erect while in public. Almost always when nervous or anxious in small group settings. This is not priapism because I never become fully erect. I noticed some people glancing down at my package which made me even more self conscious. This included my wifes family members and our friends. I became extremely embarassed about it and as a result found myself withdrawing and just wearing my shirts untucked. This is not always an option.

I was able to kick the anxiety almost totally 2 years ago but, after 3 years still find myself obsessing about these embarrassing situations. I believe I also suffer from OCD which runs in my family. I have never been diagnosed and have never taken any meds for anxiety OCD, etc. Is there anyone out there who knows of how I can overcome this for good? I would be willing to do anything including meds at this point. It took me 3 years to get to the point where I would even find a forum to post this story online and seek help. Thanks.

I too am working with a partner who has ED. We are just in the beginning stages of our relationship, so I think it will take a while to get through it, if it continues. But I remember reading about something called Sensate exercises, that you can do under the guidance of a counsellor. [more..]

I’m feeling very funny discussing this but I need advice on where to get information. I’m one of those rare women who has an orgasm 100% of the time but only with vaginal sex, never with oral sex. [more..]
