tumt procedure left me with major complications

I had a tumt in dec of o6. My doctor informed it was safe and would be performed in his office under general anesthesia and there would be few complications.

After the procedure, my pain was so severe, I couldn’t sit, stand or do anything except pace the floor. I had a cather for four days. After cath removal, I had blood in urine along with a lot of blood clots. I began running a temperture. I had several uninary tracts infections in the next month with no medication actually getting rid of the infection. I found out i had ecoli [E. coli] which is a bacteria from the rectum. I began urinating through my rectum and passing gas through my penis. My doctor just laughed at me.

I sought another opinion and to make a long story short ended with a colostom and had to wear a catheter for six months. The doctor had burned a hole through my urethra into my rectum which is where the infection was coming from. After several days in hospital, I was sent home with a colostomy and a cath for six months to allow it to heal. The cath is out now. I get the colostomy out this next month.

so far, i have not been able to have a climax. the sensation is not there. I have always been very sexual and needlesss to say, this is very upsetting to me. PLEASE don’t have this procedure done.
