i was 27 years old when i was getting back pain and bleeding when i went for a pee they kept telling me it was kidney infections then they sent me for a scan and told me they would get back to me if anything showed up , 4 years pasted and notthing but the pain was worse and the bleeding hadnt stopped and i was fed up goin to the doctor , till one day i said i wasnt moving until they found out what was wrong with me , next thing head of my doctors came in and told me id to go to hospital rite away , when i got there i found out 4 years earlier they had found the tummor in my kidney but instead of putting me into the system they took me out , by this time i had to loose the kidney , then one year later a full hystorectomy then 4 years after that they said they had to take the bladder out , i was so scared ad rather have died instead of facing what was in front of me , but my kids begged me to go for it so i did in the end , and it took 23 hours for them to do the op , and at first i didnt think i could deal with the bag it really scared me and didnt no anything about a urostmy , i had it a year and my husband of 21 years left me , so i had to go it all alone , but that was 8 years ago now and im still fighting everything but im still here and thats what matters most , i go away on holiday 10 times a year and spend all the time i have with my family , because im so gratful to have the gift of life , and as long as u stay strong u can fight anything , so keep a good frame of mind and ul get threw it with no problems , u will get good and bad days but thats just normal life xxx
