To quickly access health information from your website's browser, download Bladder Cancer? I am 44 and have been suffering from urgency and BPH type problems for about 6 months. Doc prescribed FloMax and that really helped, but I still felt that I needed to get a deeper test to see what is going on so my doc performed the scope test. Good thing he did because he found a very small tumor in my bladder that was unexpected. I am now going in for surgery in Mar 09 to have the tumor removed and also to have a TUIP performed on my prostate. The doc said I have a 50/50 chance it is bladder cancer. I have done a ton of research on the web and I have yet to find any info on benign tumors of the bladder. This is leading me to believe that I dont have a 50/50 chance, but really there is no such thing as a benign tumor in the bladder and that I have bladder cancer My prognosis is good, the doc believes it is small and that after I have it out, I should be OK and will just have to monitor it every 3 months. I am alittle nervous about this, but I am glad it was caught early. Comments
