WHAT?

I am a 46 year old, non smoking white female. I applied for life insurance in August and was delayed because of abnormalities with my urinalysis. Long story short, I finally was referred to a urologist Positive cytology (2x), high number of red blood cells on microscopic analysis (>100/HPF), significant amount of protein in urine, cystoscopy shows a “suspicious” area. I’m scheduled for biopsy and fulguration, bilateral retrograde pyelogram and selective urine cytology on Jan. 29th. To say I’m worried is putting it mildly!! Any thoughts on this? The doctor has not used the “cancer” word with me at all, but has certainly talked around it.
