To quickly access health information from your website's browser, download Bladder Cancer Im a 43 year old male with the cancer mutation Lynch Syndrome just recently diag. My family has a stong history of cancer right now my younger brother has colon cancer with a colostomy bag hopefully will be reversed soon. This past May i was having alot of AB and lower back pain. Just had kidney stones in Jan 08. Saw my Dr had a urine cytology test down that he said was normal and no cancer. When i asked for the report and was looking at it it said abnormal findings in voided urine and clinical correlation is recomended. I don’t no what he saw that he said everything is normal. Called my genetics Dr who refered me to his Urologist and he did a cystoscope and found 2 tumors. I had another scope in the hospital under general Anst so they can be removed. Right now im waiting on the biopsie results to see what might need to be done because of my age and im not a smoker getting bladder cancer is very rare. We are looking at doing a P.E.T Scan just to make sure the cancer didn’t spread because the tumors did not show up on a regular C/T Scan. My message is always get a second opinion even on the Dr saying everything is fine i new something wasn’t right and i’m lucky they found it early i was told. Comments
