To quickly access health information from your website's browser, download Surviving Bladder Cancer After being diagnosed with a very aggressive bladder tumour six years ago I was completely shattered. Frequent bouts of bleeding had prompted investigation, which quickly confirmed the worst. Two operations followed, the second one necessary after the pathology confirmed that this malignancy was particularly aggressive. After the surgery I undertook 6 weeks of BCG treatment, (getting TB virus injected through the penis, then holding a full bladder for an hour is not particularly exciting). This was followed by monthly checks, which became three monthly, then six - and now, SIX YEARS later I am still cancer free and only getting routine checks annually. So guys - this thing CAN and will be beaten! Keep positive and never lose hope! Comments
