Here’s my story so far, I was just diagnosed with bladder cancer last week and yesterday, saw and heard the confirmation that it is a rare type of bladder cancer called a squamos [squamous] cell carcinoma and had invaded the muscle tissue.

I had a tumor removed 2 years ago and had my checkups as the doctor wanted. At my two year check he found another tumor. It was removed and I went into a study group for a new medicine for reaccurring bladder cancer.

In september, it will be 4 yrs since i had my bladder, prostate removed due to bladder cancer. Funny thing, my father at 56, was diagnosed with the same. i saw the first very small blood particles at 56 also. When my primary referred me to a urologist, I went. When he heard my history, he took me to examination room with a cystoscope, and walked back in 10 minutes later and told me ” I was loaded with cancer in my bladder “. Well, hello!
