To quickly access health information from your website's browser, download Russell aged 51 Russell first discovered his illness when he had probems with his eye. Although not connected with his condition this highlighted his high blood pressure and diabetes. After taking medication and not being able to control the symtoms he was referred to an endocrinologist who disognosed Cushings Syndrome. Two months later an adrenal tumor was found (October ‘08.) They were hoping to remove it but it was quite large and the surgery so dangerous further tests were started. It was then found he had Cancer in the liver (9th March 09.) He was referred to a London Hospital with more expertise in this condition. He was admitted on 24th March and after extensive treatment they could not control his Cortisol levels or the Cancer and he was given the prognosis of 6-12 months sadly he only lasted 6 days. This is a rare Cancer and despite everyones efforts there was nothing more that could be done. He is missed by many and my life will never be the same. Chris - Wife of 25 years. Comments
