To quickly access health information from your website's browser, download 7 in family with pheocromacytomas Our 24 year old daughter was sick for two years before they found out what was wrong. She was in bed for a year could do nothing. Finally our doctor found out she had a pheocromcytoma paragangleoma. It was removed and she is normal. Since that time we found out her brother,sister,father and two of her children ages 3,5,13,18,52 have the gene. Brother13 had a tumor removed in Mar 2007. He’s doing great. We have to be checked every 6 months. They can be cancerous and can grow back but chance are 10 in 90%. We had the best Dr at a Childrens Hospital. He will be seeing all of our children 18 and under. They have this pheo stuff down really good. Our doctor is treating the adults. Another hospital was uses to remove our oldest daughters tumor . They are wonderful also. Comments
